About the Organiser

 

School of Project Management (SOPM)

         The School of Project Management (SOPM), a constituent of NICMAR University, has been established with the objective of preparing specialized human resources to manage and deliver complex engineering as well as non-engineering projects. Its flagship programme, MBA in Advanced Project Management (APM), adopts a multidisciplinary approach blending project management with systems engineering. This equips aspiring project managers to work confidently across a wide range of industries including oil and gas, software development, energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, and construction, as well as in client, contracting and consulting organizations. Furthermore, sectors like education, healthcare, and rural development also require such trained project management professionals.

         The MBA APM uniquely caters to the techno-managerial requirements of projects in different industries. Graduates from diverse academic backgrounds such as Engineering, Planning, Architecture, Computer Science, Information Technology, Science, Commerce, Arts, Pharmaceuticals, and Agriculture benefit from the programme through its multidisciplinary curriculum, gaining comprehensive exposure to the functioning of modern, technology-driven projects. This course is one of its kind in India, with very few reputed institutions offering such specialized education in Advanced Project Management.          The Integrated MBA (I-MBA) is a five-year, ten-semester programme that provides a seamless blend of undergraduate and postgraduate-level management education. Abstract Submission Guidelines

  • The abstract should clearly outline the research objectives, methods, findings, and implications using the structured format as mentioned below.
  • The acceptable word range for the abstract is 150-200 words.
  • Avoid citing references in the body of the abstract.
  • Minimum 3 and Maximum 5 Keywords. 

Paper Submission Guidelines

  • To be submitted in a document with A4 size pages with double-spaced, Times New Roman-12 font size in MS Word compatible format text.
  • The acceptable word range for the abstract is 150-200 words.
  • Minimum 3 and Maximum 5 Keywords.
  • The length of research papers (including references) should be 4000 to 5000 words.
  • Suggestive paper structure:
    • Introduction
    • Literature Review
    • Research Methodology
    • Data Analysis
    • Findings/Results
    • Conclusion/Implications
    • Recommendations (wherever required)
    • Acknowledgements (wherever appropriate)

    • Appendices (if any)
  • Case studies should be accompanied by teaching notes and references.
  • Headings and subheadings must be short and numbered. The primary and sub—headings should be in title—case capitalization.
  • Figures/ diagrams/ graphs to be given relevant titles, to be preferably in an editable form and numbered consecutively. The source reference should be indicated at the bottom.
  • Tables preferably in an editable form and numbered consecutively. Its 'title' should be placed above the table and 'source' should be indicated at the bottom. Tables should be numbered and referred to in the text as Table 1, Table 2, etc.
  • References should be included at the end of the paper and arranged in alphabetical order. The references must follow the style guide of the American Psychological Association (APA) seventh edition.
  • All manuscripts will be subject to blind peer- review.
  • The text should be in English. British usage is accepted.
  • All submissions should report original and previously unpublished research irrespective of the type of research paper you are presenting.
