Indian Banking has undergone various changes over the years, and, has timely evolved with their products and services. In the 1980’s a need was felt to improve customer service, MIS reporting, and bookkeeping. To overcome the problem, in 1988, RBI had set up a committee under Dr. C. Rangarajan.
