Guidelines for Authors
The authors are expected to fulfill the following responsibilities:
Authenticity: The author should not simultaneously submit concurrent manuscripts (or manuscripts essentially describing the same subject matter) to more than one journal at a time. Also, any previously published paper should not be submitted by the author for publication in the journal.
Access and Retention of Data: The author should collect and analyze the research data with utmost sincerity and honesty. The author is expected to share (if required) the research data with publishers, Editor-in-Chief, reviewers, and readers for convenience of editorial review and public access. Also, the author should retain such data for any possible use after publication if feasible.
Plagiarism and Ethics: Plagiarism in all its forms is deemed to be considered as unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable. The author should take the responsibility of ensuring the originality of the work submitted. The content reproduced from secondary sources should be acknowledged and cited by the author. The explicit declaration of all sources supporting the research and mentioning of conflict(s) of interest should be ensured by the author.
Authorship of the Paper: The contributors to the research paper should be given due acknowledgement by the author. Those who have contributed significantly to the research should be listed as co-authors. The author should take affirmation from all co-authors regarding the final version of the paper and also its publication in the journal.
Details of funding and financial support: The author(s) should provide the statement for acknowledgement of funding in case the research work carried out by the author is financially supported by any agency. Also, the details of the agency which provided the financial support should be clearly mentioned in the manuscript along with the grant number in square brackets.
Avoid multiple submissions: The author(s) should refrain from submitting a manuscript for publication in more than one journal.
Communication regarding error(s): The author is responsible for communicating to the Editor-in-Chief about any probable error(s) in his or her published paper and should be ready to cooperate earnestly with the Editor-in-Chief in retraction or correction of the paper. In case the Editor-in-Chief is notified by any third party other than the author that the published paper includes some error, the author should write a retraction or make the correction based on the medium of publication.
Correction & Retractions: The intimation of error (if any) occurred during the publication process is sent by the Editor-in-Chief to the corresponding author(s). If both the parties agrees upon a common ground, a correction is published subsequently. In case the author(s) discover any error in their work after publication, the Editor-in-Chief would make a decision regarding publication of a correction.
If a paper containing fraudulent data has been published, a document of retraction should be printed in the contents page of the journal.
Guidelines for submission of manuscripts:
The Society for Human Transformation and Research invites original unpublished research-based papers, articles, communications and management cases on topics of current concern in the area of management and related social sciences. A general guideline for contributors is listed below:
Manuscript: Manuscript should be sent along with the authorization letter in favour of the Editor-in-Chief stating that, it may be published after necessary editing and the copyright shall remain with the publisher. Manuscript should also be accompanied with a brief resume of the author in a separate document. Manuscriptshould normally be of around 10,000 words (To an extent of 20 to 40, A-4 size pages, typed double space). Manuscript should be submitted with the cover page bearing only the title of the paper and author(s)’s name(s), designation(s), official address(es), phone/fax number(s), and e-mail address(es).
Abstract: All the manuscripts should include an abstract (as per the format attached) of about 100 to 200 words and key words (maximum five key words). No abstract is required for review essays or case studies.
Footnotes: All footnotes should be indicated by serial numbers in the text and literature cited should be detailed under “Notes” at the end of the paper/chapter bearing corresponding numbers.
Tables and Figures: Tables should approximate the appearance of printed tables and preferably submitted in a separate excel file.
Tables/figures should be placed at the end of text, after footnotes, appendices, and references. Tables should contain a source and units of measurement. Their location in the text should be indicated as follows:

References: Place the references at the end of the manuscript following the footnotes. The list should mention only those sources actually cited in the text or notes. Authors name should be same as in the original source. For more than one publication by the same author, list them in chronological order, with the older item first. For more than one publication in one year by the same author, use small lower case letters to distinguish them (e.g. 1980a, 1980b). All references should be as per APA style.
No stops after abbreviations (UK, USA, MBBS, MBA, etc.). Use stops after initials (Dr. V.P. Muda).
Use double quotes throughout. Quotations in excess of 50 words should be separated from the text with a line space above and below and indented on the left. Quotes should be cited accurately from the original source without editing, and should give the page numbers of the original publication.
Capitalization should be kept to the minimum and should be used consistently.
An author will receive 10 off-prints and a complimentary copy of the issue in which his/her paper has appeared.
Book review must provide the following details: Name of author/title of book reviewed/place of publication publisher/year of publication/number of pages (in Roman figures to include preliminary pages), and price, with binding specifications such as paperback or hardbound.
