It gives us immense pleasure to present the first issue of Volume 14 of the International Journal of Management Issues and Research (IJMIR). The journal continues its mission of disseminating scholarly work that bridges management practices with contemporary information-driven insights. This issue showcases a rich blend of empirical studies, comparative analyses, and conceptual explorations across diverse disciplines, reflecting the dynamic and evolving landscape of management and information research.
The present issue brings together ten research papers addressing themes of healthcare performance, customer engagement, digital transformation, entrepreneur-ship, corporate governance, and risk management, among others. Together, these contributions highlight the need for innovation, adaptability, and resilience in the face of global challenges and opportunities.
The opening paper of this issue explores the operational performance of health and wellness centres, providing valuable insights into primary healthcare delivery at the grassroots level. Building on the service sector, another study investigates customer delight in the banking industry, offering a comparative perspective between public and private sector banks.
Extending the discussion on financial services, one contribution examines the awareness and adoption of e-banking in rural areas, while another presents a comparative study on women-led registered MSMEs in relation to the wider MSME sector, offering an important lens on gender and entrepreneurship.
The issue also highlights the role of technology and governance in reshaping organizational landscapes. Research on artificial intelligence in online customer engagement demonstrates how digital tools are transforming business-customer interactions, while another study on corporate governance and firm performance provides insights into the link between accountability mechanisms and business outcomes.
Further, the entrepreneurial and innovation-driven perspective is reflected in work on marketing tactics of women-led businesses, as well as in an exploration of digital innovations in post office schemes that underscore modernization and financial inclusion.
The issue concludes with papers on emerging risk domains. One explores the potential of cyber insurance in mitigating cybercrime, while another offers a comparative analysis of performance in the general insurance sector, both highlighting the significance of resilience and adaptation in today’s uncertain environment.
Together, these contributions emphasize the journal’s commitment to interdisciplinary scholarship, addressing critical challenges and opportunities that define the contemporary socio-economic landscape.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the contributors for their rigorous research, to the reviewers for their invaluable feedback, and to our readers for their continued support.
We hope this issue inspires new discussions, informs decision-making, and motivates further inquiry in the fields of management and information research.
