Important Information for authors

It has been brought to our notice that some third parties are fraudulently charging Fees from authors for submission of manuscripts to JPI journals through their website. JPI categorically reiterates that authors don't have to pay any fee for submission/publication of manuscripts to JPI journals and the submission is valid only if made through JPI website following the given submission guidelines. Authors are requested not to use any other portal for submission and neither pay any amount whatsoever to anyone for submission. JPI will not be liable for the same.

To publish quality research on emerging issues of the Indian economy with a view to provide inputs for policy formulation at different levels.

Aims and Scope

Pragati is a bi-annual double blind peer-reviewed journal devoted to the publication of research articles on issues of relevance to the Indian economy. India is one of the fastest growing economies of the world. At the same time, it is confronted with its own set of challenges such as poverty, income inequalities and unemployment.  The journal aims to disseminate research findings and critical perspectives of scholars on topical issues concerning Indian economy. The journal is intended to provide valuable inputs to academicians, researchers, policy makers and others interested in Indian economy.
