This research paper delves into the repercussions of the US recession on the Indian economy, analyzing the interconnectedness and implications of economic downturns in major global economies. The United States, as a key player in the global financial landscape, experiences economic fluctuations that reverberate across international markets. India, with its expanding economy and reliance on global trade, is not immune to the effects of recessions in major economies like the US. Through a combination of economic models, statistical analysis, and case studies, this study examines the channels through which US recessions impact various sectors of the Indian economy, including trade, investment, employment, and fiscal policy. Key factors explored include changes in export demand, capital flows, currency fluctuations, financial market linkages, and policy responses. The paper also considers the resilience of the Indian economy, potential mitigating strategies, and implications for long-term economic growth and stability. By providing insights into the dynamics of global economic interdependence, this research contributes to understanding the complexities of managing economic shocks in an interconnected world.
