This research delves into the phenomenon of Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) within the context of the Indian banking sector. Through a comprehensive analysis, it seeks to understand the causes, implications, and management strategies related to NPAs in the Indian banking landscape. The study investigates the regulatory frameworks, economic factors, and banking practices that contribute to the accumulation of NPAs, as well as the impact of NPAs on financial stability and credit availability. By exploring effective approaches for NPA resolution and risk mitigation, this research aims to provide insights for policymakers, regulators, and financial institutions to address this critical issue
