As the organisational complexities are increasing, e-learning is being used as a corporate training tool. Popularity of online training is growing in the organisations all over the world. The objective of this research paper is to study the trainee reactions for online training in IT sector. Morgan and Casper’s trainee reaction questionnaire (TRQ) has been used as a tool. It is observed that TRQ is a reliable tool to study trainee reaction for e-training programs as all the six subscales were found to be reliable for e-learning. The data was collected from 250 employees of IT sector and trainees were found to be satisfied with the e-learning programs. It can be said that instructor satisfaction plays a major role for online training. If instructor’s role is important, online training effectiveness will be improved while imparting declarative and procedural knowledge.
